Oxbridge Academy is a cheat and well known to charge cancellations fees as a ******* to students

I highly do not recommend registering with Oxbridge Academy as it seems like a **** institution, a lady by the name Mischa contacts you and convinces you to enrol,she hides all the lies behind this institution not mentioning any cancellation fees, first they convince you to do an unnecessary bridging module just to waste your money and further more the srudy material information is poor not informative nor is it well structured and they expect you to complete 3 assignment with a joke of information provided...secondly they sent you sms and email everytime you pay...it was mentioned that after receving the 2nd installment a 2nd set of module will be dispatched but this is not true...this is a lie...when i emailed mt consultant i was initially assisted by who is Mischa i received no reply...when i email the support...all i get it thank you we received the payment...they do that just to shut you up...lastly when i requested to cancel my studies due to finances...they refuse they gave you this nonsense of you have to fill in the cancellation form and that the board will discuss the cancellation fee...this is the only instutution that still wants to cheat a person and make them pay for cancellation fees...clearly due to finances tells one that a student doesnt have money to pay...lastly they course i enrolled for was a nqf4 and not even with the board but i was paying R700 per month which is a totally *******...this institution is a cheat...dishonest and tries to make money of students with cancellation fees....i am not the first person...if you look at the other reviews...we all have the same complains and all they say is that they tried contacting you but there was no reply....further the consultants that contacts you is forceful although you are clearly stating to cancel it...they have a cheek to ask for supporting documentation to prove you cannot afford it...what nonsense is this...i was not requesting a bursuary but merely a cancellation....i strongly recommend other better institutions where the service is excellent and there is proper board exams....guys rather go for Skills Academy or Academy of York....as oxbridge academy is nothing but headaches and they will just eat your money

Upon initial contact with you telephonically after we received the complaint , we struggled to assist you immediately as the student details that were given to us were not of our college but of another college which you were previously registered and had complaints with but as promised over the phone. Here is our feedback of our investigation.

Our investigation found that you registered for the N4 Financial Management course with Oxbridge Academy. Our records indicate that the Intro Accounting module was confirmed with you via email, and you agreed to start with it, given your previous challenges with accounting in Grade 12, which is a prerequisite for this course: https://www.oxbridgeacademy.edu.za/courses/bookkeeping-accounting/national-certificate-n4-financial-management/

Regarding your concerns about fees, our investigation revealed that we are not deducting any unauthorized fees from your account. The registration fee and two instalments were paid as per your records.

In response to your claim about not being informed about our cancellation procedures. Our phone records indicate that the terms and conditions (T & C's) were indeed discussed during the conversation. Registering with Oxbridge Academy implies accepting the T & C's, which was explained by the student advisor as a standard part of our enrolment process.

Regarding your cancellation request, we understand your financial situation and take such matters seriously. As per our policies, we have received your request, and the appropriate channels are being followed to discuss any cancellation fees.

It's important to note that our consultants are here to assist you, and we value open communication and encourage you to contact us directly to address any outstanding concerns.

I do not agree with the reply from you guys above.

The terms and conditions were not explained to me especially the cancellation fee...thus i am disputing it.

Further to that i still received another email from oxbridge academy telling me that i am liable for the cancellation fee...this should be only applicable if i was requesting a refund for the installments that was made...which i never requested...unless you guys refund me then we can bring this into discussion.

You guys forgot to mention how youll never responded to my email enquiring about the 2nd modules where Mischa just doesnt respond nor the support email address...all youll mention is thank you for mt payments.

Also what about the trash study material that youll provided that doesnt explain anything and doesnt provide any solutions.

Again students if youll want to sit with headaches and throw away money than only deal with this *********** institution.They only good for charging you every month and when you want to cancel then they want to threaten you to pay cancellation fee...we students also have rights...its called consumer rights...

I am done with this **** institution tell your consultant Mischa to go back to school...upon my registration i issued her with my bookeeping certificate from wits which she insisted that she cannpt use and that i have to do a bridinh course...thats funny because you guys are the only institution thay told me to do a briding course to make money for nothing....as an institution like wits and unisa that is so big never requested this....again this institution is a *******.

I have completed the cancellation form..i just want this resolved as i dont want anymore dealing with this dishonest institution.

Again i refuse to pay a cancellation fee...Also consider refunding me if you want to do it the nasty way
