Not bad service, no service at all!
The worst service I ever got from anyone!!! Nor will I never study through them again but urge people to not even try. They cost me 2 years in a row not being allowed to study at UNISA. Last year January (2017) I registered for May/June exams. Paid my fees, did the application forms paid the fees, etc... I registered for 2 subjects Around May I went to the FET college where I am registered to get my exams timetable. With a shock I found out Oxbridge never registered me for the exams, it affected me in such a way that it was one of the reasons I was submitted to a psychiatric hospital for major depression for more than 3 weeks. I just want to study, so badly!! I needed those two subjects to apply at UNISA because my APS score is not high enough to apply at UNISA. Last year November 2017 I wrote the 2 subjects, passed both. January this year when I requested the results I asked how long my certificate will take. I know I am going to need it in September to apply at UNISA. The lady then told me that it takes about 8 months. I was a bit shocked, but thought its ok, I can wait. In July I contacted the exams department again to find out if they have any news regarding my certificate. A Lady, if I remember correctly it was the supervisor, told me that she will contact the Department of Education to find out. Never mailed me back or let me know. She did send me a confirmation that I passed all my subjects. That however doesn’t mean anything, because only the FET college’s statement of results is valid. About a week later I got a SMS from Oxbridge that says “Dear Student, the Department of Higher Education and Training has confirmed the certificates has been sent to all relevant colleges where the students wrote exam at. Kind regards, Oxbridge Academy.” (13 September 2018 10:26) Very excited I called the FET college every week to find out if my certificate has arrived, the answered stayed the same, “no sorry mam” On the 27th of September I drove to the FET college (which is 50km away) to go and at least get my statement of results from the department of education. I hoped that UNISA would accept them. When I got there, I received 2 statements of results, two subjects on each statement. But one of the subjects had a “0” not a “passed” not a “failed” nothing just zero! FET college called the apartment of education and the reply was “they never received the final mark from the college” That statement that says “0” doesn’t mean anything! I app**** at Unisa with all backup documents to hopefully get in, but obviously no luck, my APS score needs to be higher. I called the exam department that same day, about 7 times, just no answer. Someone at last answered on the normal costumer service, he told me “sorry but the exam department does not take any calls now, they are busy with some exam papers or something” I told him please, UNISA is closing tomorrow (28 September) and I need to get this sorted, I had a lot of promises made, and no one is calling me back, or mailing me… NOTHING!!!!! His reply was “Sorry, I can understand your frustration, but they are not taking calls now. I tried calling several times since then and got through only today (30 October) for the first time. Again, a lady made promises, and said it’s the Department of Education’s fault, she will e-mail them etc… all the same stories. They have wasted 2 years of my life with their absolute incompetency, bad service, and blaming everyone around them instead of taking responsibility for what we as students and clients pay for.
