Oven Delights Disappointing Service

Ordered an eggless buttercream 2 tier square cake for my mum's 70th birthday which I picked up on the 7th June 2020. Cost me R2100, which was a small price to pay as I wanted to surprise my mum, and thought that I would be getting the best. I didn't mind the cake being rounded or the packaging which was 2 boxes, sellotaped together. However I was shocked and disappointed to find that the cake had collapsed, firstly because the board supporting the first tier was much smaller than the cake itself, secondly because the dials supporting the tier was flimsy and placed at awkward angles, and lastly because the consistency of the cake was such that it was cracking and breaking into pieces easily. It was a nightmare trying to cut the cske into portions. I contacted the manager of oven delights umhlanga, who unfortunately tried to apportion blame on me in transporting the cake. My advice to anyone supporting this business is to be very wary, and not to assume that by paying a premium, you would be getting the best.
