Paid for falsely advertised product with no refund

I recently searched online for a Playstation 4 gaming console, and after much comparisons were made, I decided to purchase the product as advertised from [URL Removed] online store. Two full days after payment had been made, I was regrettably informed that the product was in fact not available to order. I was offered an in store credit which is ridiculous in this instance. I have been trying to get my money refunded since I was informed about the lack of supply. I have sent countless emails, and made numerous phone calls regarding the refund, and have been told that that the refund has been placed under consideration. Is there any possibility that I won't get my money back?! What has to be considered here? i provided my banking details immediately. After almost two weeks, I have been told three times that the payment to my account has been made, which means that the first two times I was told were a lie. Today (13/02/2015) I was assured that the payment for refund had been made three days ago. I have now received an email asking me for my banking details. I cannot even begin to describe how unprofessionally this situation has been handled. I still have not received my refund.

Hello kerryc81,

Thank you for your comment,

We're sorry that the availability of the product changed, it's unacceptable and we're busy with the deployment of improvements on the store specifically pertaining to products with low stock levels that do run a risk of being sold out.

If you have yet to receive your refund, please contact us via e-mail : *** so that we can investigate further.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience suffered.

Kind Regards,

Orange South Africa
