Order Ignored and Given to Someone Else

I urgently needed a new phone and ordered it via the Orange Store on the Wednesday. <br> <br> Since my phone was ******, I could not do the online payment or EFT immediately, so I got a friend to do it for me on the Thursday evening. <br> <br> Because it was the last phone of that model left, I enquired on the Friday whether my order is still valid and whether they have received payment yet. I was reassured that my order has been placed, but payment is still awaiting. They requested that I send proof of payment, which I dd. <br> <br> Today is Monday. The online store reflects that the order is still awaiting payment. Naturally, I phone the Orange store and was told that this means the phone has been delivered to someone else. <br> <br> I am DEEPLY disappointed. I cannot find this phone at any other stockist. For me this now means spending an additional R1500 on aphone that is not my first choice, waiting another week for a phone to be delivered and for me to be able to sort out my banking. Oh, and I need to go through the whole refund process to get back my friend's money. *sigh*<br> <br> Nicole
