Making others pay for their mistakes
I was planning on purchasing a second hand phone from a guy who told me that he bought the phone from Orange.
Now I know that people lie so I emailed Orange - I gave them the IMEI number and asked them if the phone was actually bought from them and if they will honour the warranty.
They said yes - so I bought the phone.
A few months later, the phone started giving me problems, so I sent it in to Orange - only to have them tell me that the phone was never purchased from them - ever.
I showed them the email where they said that the phone was purchased from them but they're denying everything.
They're saying that the consultant made a mistake and that she will be dealt with but they cannot assist me.
I think that this is ridiculous - they gave me their word and they're not honouring it!
