Refusing to tell me my eye test result!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent service I received at your practice. I visited for an eye test, specifically to check whether my eye health has deteriorated, improved, or remained the same since my last visit. To my utter frustration, I was refused this basic information.

What is the point of conducting an eye test if you refuse to tell me the result? I fully understand that there is an additional charge for the actual prescription, but I did not ask for the script—I only wanted to know if my eyesight had changed in the past two years. The fact that this simple request was denied is utterly baffling.

As someone who has undergone several eye tests at Optique Optometrists and previously received my prescription without issue, I am shocked by this sudden change in practice. Why has this process been altered without clear communication? What exactly did I pay for if not for essential information about my vision?

I am extremely disappointed and honestly, quite angry. I expect better from a service I’ve trusted for years.
