OPPIPLAAS RESTAURANT, PRETORIA or AKA NO OLD TOPPIE / MOMMIE DINE-OUT!!!!

I have been dining here a couple of times and found it good but the incident to try and order Pap & Kaings left a bad taste in my mouth. On the morning of Tuesday 21 March 2023, a public holiday, my Wife, and I were to meet elderly friends at Oppie Plaas at around 11:00 for a Brunch but it could not materialize due to medical issues and we were forced to order take-out, which happened to be Pap & Kaings. Telephonic contact was made and I placed my order starting with Pap & Kaings, but were abruptly stopped by the Waiter informing me that I am not to order it as it was reserved for Dine-in clients only, I was shocked and explained that due to medical reasons the Elderly Couple couldn’t make it to the Restaurant and that the Pap & Kaings was their favourite, he did not budge. I asked for a Manager who did not even try to accommodate me or my Elderly Friends. There was no compassion, no interest or even the slightest bit of empathy towards the Elderly or Disabled. It is absolutely clear that Oppie Plaas WILL NOT Cater for Disabled, Elderly or Take-Out Clients. Rather stay away form this place as they don’t care about people!!!! Never again will I spend a dime on them!!!
