Bad experiance due to a lack of tsking onership for problems
I am extremely dissapointed in their service as wel as not having stock on certain main items on the menu They also mixed up our orders with wrong itrms. The manageress seems to be clueless about what is happening in her kitchen. She seems more interested in othet non related businesses on the same site. I had to go into the kitchen to sort out our order myself because of her absence. Be carefull when ordering and please check your bill ad non ordered items tend to appear on the bill Regards Wimpie Kieser ***

Horrible food
I recently went to Oppiplaas and was really disappointed with the food. The pap with kaings was burnt, the sirloin and chips arrived with cold chips, and the schnitzel was oily with a very small portion. The chicken wings were also horrible. Please bring back the old manager — the quality of this place seems to be going down.

Value for money is a disappointment
I am truly disappointed to say that Oppiplaas Restaurant has gone downhill over the past while. Prices have clearly increased, but unfortunately the quality and portion sizes have not improved — in fact, quite the opposite. For what you pay, you receive very little value for money. The food was below average, the portions were small, and it certainly did not meet the standard one would expect from Oppiplaas. This is disappointing, as it was always a place one could confidently recommend. I sincerely hope that management takes note of this feedback and refocuses on quality and value, because at the moment the experience does not justify the price.
