Hair by Anri Krugersdorp

Made an appointment for the 28th of March 2026, Anri Smith asked me for a 50% Deposit prior to appointment. I have never met Anri Smith or been a client, this would be my first appointment with Anri Smith. I agreed to pay less than 50% deposit, stating to her that I have never met her, and she has not even sent me the location or address of her salon. "Hair by Anri" is what she is currently using as her salon name. The photos of before and after were amazing, specifically the blonde. Therefore I agreed to pay her R300 in advance.

My mother is on Pallative Care in Pretoria, stage 4 cancer. It was an emergency, at 3am on Saturday the 28th of March, I rushed to Pretoria to be with my mom.

I have been trying to reschedule my appointment with Hair by Anri, and she is refusing to provide me with an appointment. According to Anri Smith, my deposit of R300 has expired, it was only valid for the 28th of March 2026.

Anri Smith has made accusations and is blaming me, because she can't pay her rent. The total cost for my appointment was R950, less the R300 deposit, it would give her an income of R650. I guess it is much easier for Anri Smith to ask for "deposits", than to actually provide a service, and make Hair by Anri a successful salon.

I hope that women search the reviews and avoid making the same mistake I made. I thought it was strange that Anri Smith asked for a deposit. No salon ever has asked for any form of deposit or payment in advance.
