Wost Insurance
If you want peace and reliable insurance, don't waste your time with ooba insurance. From dealing with their claim administrators to the brokers, very useless. Had a claim due to a storm... It took two months to get a rejection and no one ever acknowledge/investigated the cause of the claim, all they ever want is the reason not to pay the cover.

31 Jul 2024, 09:31Just an update since ooba apologised for my claim experience and "escalated"
Clearly I was wasting my time hoping this matter would be resolved after the above response. Despite my best efforts to explain the situation and the cause of the damage being heavy storm on the day, they still want to hide behind maintenance as the cause and ignoring the fact that a storm on the day and not normal rain caused the damages!. They initially requested a report from a qualified service provider on the status of the roof since they claimed lack of maintenance, gave them a report from a roof expect which clearly indicates that the alleged maintenance issues they are so adamant about are simply not present. Now the goal posts have changed and are now asking me to give proof of maintenance to the roof valleys prior to the incident in order for them to assist further? I wonder how many have experienced this at the time of claim and WHY do they say storm(act of nature) is covered in the police schedule then blame everything else when that actually happens and is time to cover the client.
