WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!

I registered a building claim with OOBA on 19 September 2016.

After emails and phone calls from my side I was told that a service provider will be appointed within 48 hours to fix my wall, this was strange as no assessor was appointed at the time.

After 48 hours and no actions from OOBA or Hollard side, I was told that an assessor will be appointed to assess my wall.

On 12 October 2016 the assessor eventually come, I was requested by him to send all the documentation to him, I also send all the documentation to OOBA (Hollard) on 27 September 2016 as requested by them.

The telephone number that the assessor had wasn’t even my correct number.

Again after emails and phone calls from my side, on 1 November 2016, I was informed that my claim was rejected.

When my claim was rejected I phoned OOBA and requested the report.

Again after emails and phone calls from my side, I eventually received the report on 4 November 2016.

In the rejection letter it was stated that should I dispute the rejection I must get a report from a new report from a qualified service provider at my own cost.

I went through the report and found a few discrepancies for example, in the report it was mentioned that my neighbours side is approximately 1m higher than my side.

I measured the height difference between my neighbours side and my side and it is approximately 0.6m higher and not 1m as mentioned in the report.

I send an email to OOBA disputing the rejection and I was told that should I dispute the rejection I must get a report from a new report from a qualified service provider at my own cost before they will consider the claim again.

I then told OOBA I will not get a new report if I know the initial report is wrong.

The rejection was eventually referred back to Hollard on 17 November 2016.

To date I have not received any feedback from OOBA side, each time I want an update I must send an email or phone OOBA.

On 27 January 2017 I send an email again to find out if there are any feedback, on 30 January 2017 OOBA just rep****, “We have requested feedback from our claims department and will advise once we have received their response”

I will not recommend OOBA insurance to anyone, OOBA do not believe in customer service.
