08 Dec 2021, 22:13Dear Ooba the reasoning does not justify a 500% increase for the same policy I have had with you for close to a decade. I can guarantee you that 99% of all your other clients premiums did not increase 500% which is unfair practice on your part firstly signaling out certain loyal customers who have steadily made payment and you believe will entertain such an increase. This is sickening and if it's not dealt with proves that Ooba Insure has become a joke in this market. I will expect this to be resolved tomorrow morning as 500% increase on my policy is ridiculous. The increase should be linked to inflation rate which is more reasonable. Our salaries have reduced almost 30% because of Covid and a company like Ooba believes in this trying times when South Africans are rebuilding themselves that a 500% increase in premium is sickening and deserves media attention. I have been loyal to you for many years but I also am good in smelling a rat or when a reputable company loses its way. One of your agents or advisors have seriously stuffed up as there is no way to justify a 500% increase in premium. I also expect the monies you deducted *******ly to be reimbursed as I do not agree to a 500% increase.
