Stay away from Ooba building insurance

Ooba building protector must be the world's worst insurance ever. I lodged a claim for my roof and ceiling which were liking after a hailstorm around Midrand area in November 2023 and a week later they sent someone to come and look at the damage and that was the last time I heard from them. No one ever called to give me an update on the claim until beginning of February when I tried to call again and they said the person handling my claim is away and they will call me back which they never did. Fast forward I called again on the 20th of February only to be told that my claim was rejected because I didn't have waterproof on my house. My house was perfectly fine until that hailstorm which damaged a lot of houses around Midrand that day.
