Ooba structure cover

Please stay away from Ooba. We have been paying structure cover for over 8 years. We had a water pipe which burst on the 18th Jan. A lot of damage occurred. The next day...ooba was contacted, thier service provider was sent to repair the pipe. While here, he called ooba to tell them the repair price. The consultant from ooba advised that the repair was cheaper than the excess so we should pay the service provider cash. He left after taking pics of all the water damage. One month later, no response, after making numerous calls, I was told I could get my own service providers and submit the quotes. I did this....two weeks later, after many calls...my claim was declined. Apparently they only cover concealed pipes. How ironic that when there is a chance for ooba or thier service providers to make money, the item is covered, but we there is a claim, the item is no longer covered. STAY AWAY. Service is very bad and they are not a company who works in the best interests of thier client.
