OOBA REFUSING TO PAY OUT ON BUILDINGS INSURANCE

For the last 4 days, the pipe fitting to the geyser has been leaking causing the ceiling panels to buckle in our house. The reason they tell us why they are unable to fix this is because the plumbers affliated to ooba insurance are unable to work on this specific type of pipe that was installed. The plumber confirmed that the joint joining the three pipes is leaking, and they cant work on Pex pipe whereas the ooba consultant Lerato, says that ooba does not cover leaking joints.WHICH DOES NOT MAKE SENCE. We are still waiting on feedback regarding this claim for two days with the water still leaking through the roof. According to Lerato no formal report has been received from this plumber but she made a decision over a vocal conversation between the plumber and herself. Decision made was that ooba will not be covering this problem nor the resulting damage to the ceiling. Claim number 890565
