No/Poor Feedback Delaying Claim Process
So where Do I start, Claim registered Dec 2023, Approved 4 Jan 2024.
Today still awaiting feedback, in terms of damages, finishing the project and just surprised on how difficult it is for this company to give feedback at all. I'm no longer calling as already used up all my calling time getting info out of you. I cannot wait for my meeting with lawyers next week to give them all the evidence I've gather for non compliance from you as an insurer

23 Jan 2024, 10:03Sure, doubt that either get no feedback and waste all my airtime on calling you or just get sms's stating waiting on the builder, if the builder doesn't want to do the work get someone who does. I'm the one being hold up here because you use ***** contractors breaking my stuff and delaying me.

25 Jan 2024, 08:54I deeply regret my decision to choose your insurance services. I kindly request that someone who is genuinely willing to understand my situation contacts me promptly. There seems to be a significant discrepancy between the information provided by Mera Projects and your company, causing confusion and frustration. It is imperative that you conduct thorough research into this matter and involve someone who is both informed about the current situation and up-to-date with the details.
Contrary to your assertion, I have not reached any claim cap, and the lack of accurate information from your end has left me waiting for a resolution for the past 21 days. Basic communication seems to be a considerable challenge for your organization. I urge you to align your information, ensure consistency, and improve your communication processes. It is disheartening to experience such a lack of service, and I question your ability to competently handle claims.
Furthermore, I want to make it clear that my legal representatives are prepared to take over this matter. Despite the outcome, I intend to follow their recommendations to address the issues at hand. In addition, I will be lodging a formal complaint with the ombudsman due to the ample evidence I have gathered regarding your non-compliance and the persistent challenges in receiving the service I am entitled to. It is my hope that such measures will prompt a more thorough and efficient resolution to this ongoing situation.

26 Jan 2024, 11:50Thanks Lloyd, from 4Sure Customer Experience in trying to pay me off with an rather ridiculous offer of a settlement to sort out the mess that was caused by the contractors you hired. Sort all out first then I might accept and definitely not what you are offering.
Get in touch with your contractors have a sit down and proper conversation. Review all your notes/call recordings/emails and really assess the amount of trouble you have caused this far.
I will be getting my own quotes on the side and submit to my lawyers as well with your offer so that they can see how absurd this is I do not agree with the statement "We have engaged with the service provider regarding alternative ways to assist, but we were unable to reach a conclusion as the option provided by the service provider as the different is higher, your insurance indemnifies you meaning it replace you with the same item which was damaged/lost or we cash settle you the amount it would cost to replace the damaged or lost items"
You cannot locate the items to finish the job meaning the value of your settlement does not relate to this. Also this was only damaged and needing replaced because the contractors damaged this and advised they need to take everything off again and correct this with bricks which they did notify you about, first I was told this is approved and then after that just kept on getting messages waiting on builder via sms which was not really descriptive. I'm still awaiting your feedback on this matter and the power cable that was also damaged and cut through.
