Misleading client on advertising, don’t want pay out claims
On the 12 of March I wrote a report to @brolink who is the service provider for ooba explaining what I have been experiencing and only find out the course
1. Whole ceiling in the house had a mould and it was affecting everyone with chest pain’s especially my 7 year old and I decided to change the ceiling and put the plastic PVC 1 and to my suprise same thing was happening had to wipe the roof almost every day Cape Town was raining and I saw some leaking then decided to tell the insurance they came and they saw some where the leak come from but they are declining the claim stating
Roof was unsuccessful installed Damage did not occur due to an insured peril it’s maintainance related
Mind you I joined the insurance immediately after bought the house
No assessments was done before
I only received the exclusion on their insurance now 11:35 on the 20.03.2023 Claim number ***4star001star003
Same as roll up garage door they declined as they say the before pic is so old when I bought the house is was like that already I explained the door was working it’s almost 2years m in that house they don’t want to help
@hellepeter.Com I will still advise people not to sign up with this insurance as they looking for anything not to pay the clients
As they are saying my problem it’s maintenance problem with the previous owner did not tell
I have been stating on emails that I have been staying in the address for 22months and winter 2021 and winter 22 there were no leaks I only discovered leaks 2weeks ago then reported and they declined
2. Been experiencing mould in the house 6 to 7months after moving in the house and it affected my daughter then decided to change the ceiling November 2022 I have showed them the pictures of how the mould was in whole ceiling sent them proof of what I bought and tho company that did the labour confirm on reported but the person who responded said the mould might be course by leak How? Leak 2weeks back mould 6 to 7 months after moving in the house….
