Horrible Building Insurance - Ooba Insurance/ Guardrisk/4-Sure.net

Ooba Building Insurance must be the worse insurance to date. No urgency, no empathy, no constant communication, every claim, no matter what, is rejected based on wear and tear. I was told by the sales rep Max, to claim as many times as I need to as Ooba stands with its clients to ensure the house/building is kept maintained at all times. Constant rejection, even though I have the excess to pay.

Do yourself a favor, do no opt in with Ooba Building Insurance, they will reject every claim even if it is a recently purchased house, you will still be paying to fix whatever breaks, out of your pocket + pay Ooba Building Insurance Monthly. Buying a home is stressful enough, to add to your stress having a Building Insurance that is horrible is even worse.

To top it off, the claims division cannot put through a claim properly - I claimed for the damage of my Garage Mechanism, the insurance rejects the Garage Door based on Wear and Tear - although the door wasn't the issue the mechanism was. This claim was submitted 09 June, I am still fighting.

It is very bad.
