Don't trust them
I signed an OTP on 17 March and app**** for my home loan through Ooba.
Firstly, they told me investec was not able to help me until they had stamped bank statements but I wasn't willing to go to that trouble. But on the 29th March, as I was planning to sign an offer, I got phoned by Investec - they had received my application the day before and denied ever asking for stamped bank statements.
Secondly, I got the worst offer from FNB and & I bank with them but when I asked why Ooba said I had bad scoring. I finally contacted FNB directly and that was ******* - FNB had given me a quote based on what Ooba had told them the other banks had offered and they thought they had given better offers than everyone else - so whether on purpose or by error Ooba had misinformed them and if I had not gone to FNB personally I would have ended up with a much worse deal.
I really don't think they deserve full commission on this deal
