Ridiculously Poor Service!!

<p>My mum arranged flights to India through Onestop Travel - Chatsworth and the service she received was shockingly poor. <br />The staff at this travel agency have proven to be extremely inefficient, rude and utterly disrespectful. <br />There was one person in particular - Candice, who stood out as she showed a total lack of professionalism and disregard for customers forgetting of course that it is actually because of these customers that Candice has a job! And certainly not the other way around. <br />My mum app**** for and received an electronic visa (etv) for her trip to India however, only afterwards realised that the visa was valid for 30 days and her stay in India exceeded the number of days her visa was valid for, since she came to this realisation just a week and a half before her trip, she opted to use Onestop Travel to make the second visa application purely for convenience as, Onestop Travel does charge R.350 when assisting with your visa application even though applying online for an etv visa is actually free & applying for a visa with a longer validity is considerably cheaper if done yourself. <br />Candice was meant to assist in the visa application process yet instead of being of assistance, she was actually a bully - she insisted that my mum fill out her own visa form (bear in mind she paid R.350 for this service, one would think the charge covers the admin work involved) and constantly commented loudly on the fact that my mum applying for her visa a week & half before her trip was too much hassle and even went as far as saying that my mum was giving her a "hard time"</p> <p>A hard time because she sought & paid for services which they as a travel agency offer to customers?!</p> <p>This is only just 1 example relating to the disgusting service my mum received - if I noted them all, my post would take a good hour to write. <br />My mum is a frequent traveller. She's travelled to more than 10 countries across Europe & Asia in the last 5 years alone and she's never been subjected to such blatantly disgusting service before. Needless to say this is the first and last time that she would ever use this agency to arrange another trip. <br />There are far too many reputable travel agencies out there to settle for Onestop Travel who offer substandard service. </p> <p> </p>

Dear Client

You have pre maturely posted a message on Social media , in spite of knowing the fact , that the original visa was done by yourself online and the rest of your family used the services of ONESTOP TRAVEL without any hassles . When you realized that you did the incorrect application . you conveniently expected us to pull of a miracle and do a 6 month multiple entry visa a few days before departure . Yes we proud to report that we managed to pull it off . By the way only airtickets and visas were part o out service . Hotels and other land arrangements were never booked via our Company , so there is no need for any further accusation or deformation , or else we plan to exercise our legal rights .

Please see the report Facts of what transpired as per the consultant who liaised with your mum .

Thank You Shiksha Maharajh – Customer Care Manager One Stop Travel and Tours
Flight booking was done at Head Office with Riaz Motala.

Mrs Neelambal Pillai is travelling with her sisters. I had assisted her sisters with their visa and I had advised them that they would need to apply for a 6 month visa as they stay is over 30 days in India. So they agreed and brought in all documents in good time so the visa can be out on time.

Mrs Pillai had done her 30 day e visa on her own her daughter in London(Vinal Pillay) had done it. When it was brought to her attention that she needed the 6 month visa her nephew Leon Naicker contacted her and she then came into the office in which I also explained to her.

She then came in with an Indian Visa Application already done but the reference in India wasn’t done so I then advised her that she had to re do the application or alternatively we can do the visa for her. So she came back the very same day which was the 20 February and requested us to do the visa. I then sent the visa to our head office the next day.

I also made her aware that the visa takes 7-8 working days to be processed and due to the time she came in and it is putting me under stress due to the time frame that the visa was submitted and I did advise if the visa doesn’t come out on time One Stop will not be held responsible.

Regards,
Candice Naicker

Prematurely posting on social media without knowing the facts??!!

I think that it's as clear as day that my post is related to the rudeness and poor service which my mother was subjected to.

Your response is a really lame attempt at justifying the poor service which paying customers are subjected to.

There is absolutely no excuse for rudeness!!

The fact that there are several posts on Hello Peter relating to equally poor or worse service which others have been subjected to when dealing with One Stop bears testimony to the fact that the problem actually stems from the service you offer and not the expectations of customers as you've imp**** in your response.
