Well I don't understand how can a senior like me have a limit of R160 for a whole for OTC medication
<div>Well I don't understand how can a senior like me have a limit of R160 for a whole for OTC medication. I claimed the second time and funds were loaded only for them to be taken away again in the morning and told I've exceeded my annual limit. Got in touch with their consultant Rutendo Adelaide and explained it that R160 is the annual limit for OTC medication, was a real star in helping though had all the patience. Can't say the same about the company though.</div>

Kindly note that the plan type that you are on covers for Scripted Medication and Over the Counter Medication (OTC) which are 2 different benefits with 2 different annual cover limits.
The over the Counter Medication benefit (OTC) allows clients to purchase medication at a pharmacy without a prescription. The OTC benefit can only be claimed once for each insured dependant in every 12 month cycle from the inception date of your policy. This cover forms part of your Health annual limit. There are annual cover limits on all our cover types and once the annual cover limit has been exceeded the cover limit benefit will renew on the anniversary of your policy.
