WAITING PERIOD AFTER BEING A MEMBER SINCE 01/01/2011

When we took out the insurance 01/01/2011 we were told that both my husband and myself must take out our own insurance to qualify for the best benefits. Obviously the sales person was chasing stats, since that should not have been the case, we have paid for 2 separate policies - all of these years, then after numerous requests they eventually moved me to my husbands insurance. Thus only paying one plan since 01/06/2022 - 10 years of paying double instead of paying as a dependant. Now I am on a waiting period, we have logged so many calls - every time we speak to someone else who promises to sort it out. Still not sorted out! This insurance's administration and recordkeeping are pathetic! If you do not have time, chase them daily for things to be done! Please do not become a member then, it is exhausting to fight a losing battle. WE must repeat ourselves each and every time!!!

Good day Alta,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.

We have proceeded to contact the policy holder to further explain the matter at hand.

Kindly note that as the policy holder was moved to the new policy without any break in cover, there would be no waiting periods applicable as it was served on the previous policy.

Our claims department is currently working on the recent Optometry claim and will revert back to the policy holder with the relevant feedback on the outcome of the claim.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope to restore the experience as we value all of our clients.

Kind Regards,
Oneplan
