Unreliable Service
Good Day
I changed from Essential Health thinking that Oneplan would offer better service. Despite me changing from one Health Insurer to another, I was given a one month waiting period which I had no choice but to accept. I was told that after the first payment was received, I would receive my card within 30 days. The 2nd debit order has gone off & I still didn't receive my card. I spoke to Prinessa today as I need benefits today to visit the GP. I was told to pay cash & claim. I do not have the funds to pay cash & if I could afford to pay cash for consults etc, then I wouldn't need a Health Insurer.
So I had to ask the Practice Manager for treatment on account. I'm currently speaking to the accounts personal to allow me treatment & to pay once Oneplan pays the funds into my account. His is a waste of my time & I demand compensation as I will take this to the media. Oneplan doesn't pay their service providers directly so I paid for a policy but can't use the benefits ?????
I was told that Oneplan had a problem with their printer so they couldn't courier the cards. Whose problem is that?? If I didn't have funds available for the debit , would Oneplan still auntorise benefits? No !!!
I was advised that I will receive a temporary card by Wednesday or Thursday so if Oneplan admin knew that the cards wouldn't been couriered on time, why couldn't they have sent the temporary cards to their clients?? Neither was this communication to the new members.
So how is the service received from Oneplan any different? In fact it seems to be unreliable !!
