Unpaid bills
I took out a Hospital plan in 2006. A year or 2 later I saw a ad on ONE PLAN regarding medical insurance. I phone them and they convinced me to take out a police from them. They suggested I cancel my hospital plan as they cover all hospital bills as well. Luckily I has not done that.
My husband was hospitalised on the 10 June due to soar on his foot that could not heal. They have done test and discover cancer in his foot and he suffers from Lymphoedema.
I have ask for authorisation for both but only the hospital plan give authorisation and ONE PLAN has never even come back to me . The hospital plan paid R50000 but but there is a R8000 amount outstanding that is not covered.
I dont want ONE PLAN to pay money over to me as they keep on telling me I can not claim from 2 places. I just want them to pay the bills that is not covered. The supplies phone me daily regarding outstanding bills. One suppler refuses urgent treatment due to non payment, and now my husband stands a good changes to develop gangrene.
My phone bill is more than R1000 and I have sent out hundreds of emails to them - no reply.
