Dear Joeney,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us and for bringing this matter to our attention.

We regret that your experience has been frustrating and did not meet your expectations. However, following a review of the matter, we would like to clarify the following:Our records confirm that your policy application was successfully completed via our online portal on 18/03/2026. Since inception, no cancellation request has been received, and therefore, premium collections have been processed in accordance with the agreed policy terms and conditions.
Should you wish to proceed with a cancellation, you may submit your request to ***, including your policy number in the subject line. A consultant will then assist you further. Please note that, in line with policy terms and conditions, a 30-day (one full calendar month) notice period applies upon cancellation.

All applicable terms and conditions are communicated to clients at the commencement of the policy and throughout its duration. While we remain committed to assisting where possible, all actions are governed by these terms. Oneplan adheres to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and remains committed to ensuring consistent and equitable treatment for all clients.

We encourage you to review your policy schedule, which was issued to your registered email address, to fami****ise yourself with your selected plan, as well as the applicable benefits, limits, and terms.

Reviewer Update
How wonderful of you to reply on a review but now on my email request.

I did do an application online pending a call back.
Upon this call I realized that your services won't be suitable where as I then requested the policy to be canceled as I was unhappy with the service and uneducated person who called me. That person then advised me to contact the cancelations department however I was never given a number to call.

I then at a later stage I then received a call From Laverne Phillips offering me a much better service than the previous person. I do believe that all your calls are recorded I told her that she MIGHT be able to change my mind in canceling. We corresponded back and forth on email where I directly told her I do not want to confirm any payment details yet as I was still unsure. Why was there not a hold placed on my profile as I was still deciding?

I have a full email thread. In my last email I was still awaiting response from Laverne Phillips regarding the amount my premium will be after making changes. And then my bank account was debited with R2000 which I do not know what policy it is as I did not confirm anything!!!

I do not care what your procedures require I want a full refund of my R2000 that was debited unauthorized

Dear Joeney,

Kindly note that, following a further investigation into this matter, we have reviewed your communication with our consultant in detail.

Our records confirm that your correspondence was received after your policy had already been activated, and an initial debit had been attempted in line with the policy inception date of 01/05/2026. This debit was unsuccessful due to insufficient funds.

In addition, there was no formal request submitted to place the policy on hold. While you did enquire about how your premium would be affected should changes be made, no confirmed instruction was provided to implement any amendments to the policy. As a result, the original premium remained applicable, and the subsequent debit was processed accordingly.

Based on the above, the premium was collected strictly in accordance with the agreed policy terms and conditions, and no refund is due.

We trust that this clarifies the matter.

Kind regards,
 Oneplan.
