Stay away, stay healthy, dealing with them will cause you health problems

Not worth the time, frustration and money. Every reimbur*****t was a nightmare despite providing sufficient and ample proof that service was provided and paid. They can not even notice a credit card slip attached to an invoice. Claims get rejecting multiple times up to the point where you threaten to cancel the policy and someone literate and educated actually reviews and then approve a claim. We now gave formal instruction after being there 15 years to cancel the Policy. After review, the annual Limits are 30% less than the annual contributions. One can rather put the money aside than having to deal with the endless frustration incompetence & illiteracy of their staff. Once, even a proof of payment for Pathology screen shot got rejected multiple times before escalating it to the point of threatening to cancel, I had to get a statement. Then, without additional documentation, someone intervenes and it get reimbursed. There are 3 claims pending reimbur*****t, but instead of having to go through the nightmare, I just cut my losses and lose thousands of rands spent on the medical expense as well as policy contributions. They were great then, but gone to absolute waste now.

Dear Meyer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and concerns with us. We are sorry to hear that your experience with the claims process has been frustrating. However, it is important to note that all claims are assessed and processed subject to the policy terms and conditions, as well as the applicable claims requirements. Where the required supporting documentation is not submitted or does not meet the claims requirements, the claim cannot be approved until the outstanding requirements have been met.

Our claims processes are in place to ensure that all claims are reviewed fairly, consistently, and in line with the benefits available on the selected plan. As such, supporting documentation may be requested to validate a claim before payment can be made.

With regard to your cancellation request, please note that the policy schedule states:
"Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to ***. There is a thirty-one (31) day (one calendar month) notice period for all cancellation requests."

We appreciate your long-standing support over the years and thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Oneplan subscribes to its TCF principles and will take all reasonable steps to ensure fair and equal treatment of all our clients.

We trust that this clarifies the matter.

Kind regards,
Oneplan.

I think that being with OnePlan 15years in itself would prove that I am well aware of you claims process.
Why then were claims paid after having to onerously explain to consultants what it os they are reading and eventually having the claims reimbursed based on the the same initial information provided only having to make a fuss and get them read read and understand what they are reading.
You response in itself is evidentiary proof that you failed to read and understand the cancellation instruction sent nor that you attempted to understand the true issue at hand as opposed to deflect and attempt to blame the policy holder of mis interpretation or lack of understanding. Which is why you will never improve.

Furthermore as stated. I am aware at you so called grace period for cancellation however given the continued de*****ing to collect moneys for a policy that is rendered useless given the incompetencies of your staff is considered *****.
