Stay away! Do not sign up with them.

Long story short - they will debit you multiple times a month, buggy app and suspicious business practices.

Long story - In January 2023, 2 debit orders went down for the same pet insurance policy. No communication was received from their side and I had to spend 30 minutes on the phone, just to get to a rep to reverse the debit order. They ensured me it was a "one"-time error and that it won't happen again...

In February 2023, just one month later, they debited me twice again, after being assured that it won't happen again. The first debit order happened on the 25th and the second on the 27th. No matter how much evidence I presented them (my official bank statement [revealing information I would have like to keep private], debit order history etc), they kept insisting that the debit order never went off on the 27th.

I find them predatory, money-hungry and extremely uncaring to their clients. Not ONCE was there any suggestion or plan of action from their side to rectify their situation.

And then there is the issue with their so-called "App". It is beyond buggy and never should have been released to the public. No changes reflect on it, the chat function takes about an hour to get a response and, even if it does, you do not get a notification that someone has rep****, therefore losing all progress in the chat (***?!). It lacks vital information and does not receive significant updates that improve its stability. For a business that markets aggressively that their competitive advantage is their app, it is shocking and laughable that it is in its current state.

Apart from the above, I have close relatives that have had more than R30k denied due to their convoluted "matrix" system that is applicable when pets go to the hospital. This system is NEVER explained in detail to a client, so hopefully, when you're distraught over your pet, you'll have your money paid out, but based on my experience, most likely not.

If one of the managers or executives actually take time and read this comment, I would suggest a full-fledged review of your financial department, as it is...sub-par to say the least.
