Serious lack of communication

One plan lacks serious communication. When I signed on, I was told I can see any GP provided I submit proof of payment from the GP. Not only do I submit the receipt, I also give a full detailed statement from GP with ICD codes and GP details, and stamp, and now that is not accepted. Now 9 months in and there has been no communication from One plan about the "new rule" of no hand written receipts will be accepted. While i can understand the concern for *****, i am now legitimately ill and need to see a GP, I have called several in my area and none of them will give a "cash" paying client a computer generated invoice. So I am stuck to pay for my own GP visits while I have one plan health insurance who is supposed to pay for it.

Dear Mellisa,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and processes to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations as we do value you as our client.

In the last year, we have seen an increase in ********** claims, and this has resulted in increased risk. In response to these challenges, we have implemented interim measures to enhance the security and integrity of our claims process. One such measure involves requiring a detailed computerized invoice reflecting the services rendered, including the proof of payment when claiming for any day-to-day benefits.

While we understand that this adjustment may cause an inconvenience, please know that it is necessary to protect the interests of all our clients and ensure the sustainability of our product.

Kindly note that the terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly to all clients. We do have your best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and must apply the TCF policy to ensure all our clients receive fair service and cover.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope the above brings clarity on the matter.

Kind Regards,
Oneplan
