****med!
This morning I rushed my 5 year old to the emergency room.
Her current temperature was 42 degrees. She was complaining of severe stomach and chest pains. She was also vomiting. I called Oneplan to confirm if I needed an authorisation. I was informed that I do not need an auth. At the first establishment, I was told that they do not accept Oneplan and that I needed to pay cash. At the second hospital, same story. So Pumla at pre-auth spoke to the hospital. Depending on my daughters TEMPERATURE it would be decided if Oneplan will cover us or not. My daughter was given an ORANGE triage. She was considered very ill - despite her then 37.1 temperature. She was given pain medication 2 hours before we thought it necessary to seek medical advice and obviously it kicked in and broke the fever. Payment and auth was declined by Oneplan I was told that I am liable for the entire account.
Pumla was so concerned with Dianca's temperature she never even bothered to ask what triage they put her under! What if it WAS her heart!? Do stroke or heart attack patients have a fever before they DIE??

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by your so called cover and service!
