Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached as we do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations. Kindly note that the annual cover limit for the day-to-day benefit on the Super plan which is for the Casualty benefit and the Pet Med Savings benefit is R6600. The Pet Med Savings benefit may be used towards Preventative care claims for your fur-baby including voluntary sterilization, vaccinations, deworming, tick and flea control, anal gland expression, dental scaling and polishing and nail clipping, chronic medication, hydro- and physiotherapy up to a cover limit of R900 per a pet covered on the Super plan. Should clients request for more cover, they can choose to add on the Pet Med Booster which offers an additional R900 towards preventative care claims.
The Casualty benefit covers up to the cover limit of R1650 per Casualty benefit claim and your fur-baby has 4 Casualty Benefit claims per year. This benefit will cover for the Vet consultation, prescribed medication, pathology, radiology, medically justifiable dentistry, minor procedures, and treatments or diagnostic tests up to the respective cover limit.
The overall annual cover limit for the above-stated day-to-day benefits is R6600 and there are annual cover limits on all our cover types which are renewed on the anniversary of your policy.
Records on our system confirm that the services rendered on the invoice we received for your fur-baby Ziva were for voluntary sterilization, nail clipping, dental scaling, and anal gland expression. Kindly note that this is covered under the day-to-day section specifically the Pet Med Savings feature up to its respective cover limit of R900 on the Super plan as it is a Preventative Care claim hence the claim for your fur-baby was finalized and approved up to the respective cover limit.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. The terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly to all clients. We do have your fur-babies best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and must apply the TCF policy to ensure all our clients receive fair service and cover.
We have acknowledged your complaint and we have escalated the matter to the relevant department. One of our consultants will be in contact with you to further discuss the matter at hand.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope to provide clarity on the matter.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
