*******

I joined Oneplan and after I joined my dog fell ill. To date I have paid the Vet exactly R11 354.00 of which Oneplan has paid R615.00 (which was not even related to his illness but for his vaccinations) . It's totally ridiculous that you pay almost R300 per month and the cover is a lot but when it comes to them paying your claim, they are useless. Needless to say, I have cancelled my policy with them and I will be joining another Pet Insurance.

Dear Robyn,

Thank you for voicing your concern.

We have looked into the matter and have the following feedback.

Your policy inception date is the 01/08/2017. Your policy documentation were emailed to you on the 12/07/2017 which included your policy schedule, policy wording and a how to claim guide. These documents contain all the terms and conditions of the policy as well as the amounts that you are covered for under the policy.

Your very first claim was on the 21/08/2017 which fell within the waiting period hence it was declined. Your were informed of this via email on the 10/10/2017 by our claims department when your claim was assessed.

Your second claim was for the vaccination of your pet for the 22/09/2017 for which we have paid up to the limit for that cover.

We are sorry to hear that you have sent a request to cancel your policy with us.

Regards,

The Oneplan Team
