Pet insurance not worth it.
Pet Insurance is terrible. Stay away! App NEVER works, have to pay out of pocket and then when you try to claim back a refund they do not cover most things (also if the claim is older than 3 months you forfeit the funds). Dog has passed and still have not removed him from my policy. Been with them for over 8 years, paying through my ass ( R909 a month already) for nothing.

03 Dec 2024, 12:17Dear Lorraine,
Thank you for taking our call earlier and allowing us the opportunity to further discuss the matter at hand.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us. Our condolences to you and your family on the passing away of your fur-baby. Please accept our deepest sympathies for all that you have experienced.
Records on our system confirm that on the 23rd of October 2024, we provided you with claims forms to be completed and returned to us for processing. Unfortunately, we did not receive the necessary paperwork, and as a result, your fur-baby remained covered under the plan.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We do have your fur-baboes best interests at heart and will gladly assist with all benefits that have provisions in the policy terms and conditions. Oneplan subscribes to its TCF (Treat Customers Fairly) principles and will take all reasonable steps to ensure fair and equal treatment of all our clients.
As per our telephonic conversation, we have proceeded to send an email to your listed email address and we will revert to you with the relevant feedback.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope the above brings clarity to the matter.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
