Pay for a month you can't even use

<p>So apparently with one plan pet insurance you pay for your first month, but cannot use it? My poor puppy had skin mites and the vet said it needed to be treated a.s.a.p and when I wanted to use the medical aid that I pay for they refused and when I wanted to claim my money back they said I paid for a one month waiting period?????? But when I opened the account I was promised that I would be covered immediately. </p> <p> </p> <p>Now I paid for a months cover and had to pay my vet bill on that month as well as they have a waiting period on different sorts of treatments. </p> <p> </p> <p>So basically what they are saying is that if your animal picked up a life-threatening disease in the first month and you couldn't afford the bills your animal will have to die because they don't cover the first month!!!</p>
