Pathetic service.
On Friday afternoon, my furbaby was poisoned. Immediately I took her to the vet where they confirmed and kept her in over night. The vet gave me a heads up that her bill was going to be over R2000. No problem. I'm with OnePlan. So in my state of stress, I accidentally picked the wrong name (I have 2 pets covered) and OnePlan was supposed to cover R1920 out of my now R3000 vet bill. I did not worry then because R1000 is very little for my baby's life. Especially during lockdown when my salary isn't at its all time high, I still paid. OnePlan calls me this morning to ask me to pay back R700 odd What am I actually paying for if OnePlan won't cover WHEN I ACTUALLY NEED THEM TO!! I'm paying well over R1000 a month for me, my boyfriend and our 2 fur kids. If this is the type of pathetic service we get then fine. I will pay back your R720 but you lose over R1000 monthly.
Thank you for taking our call and allowing us the opportunity to assist.
Firstly, we are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate event of Lola being poisoned and hope she makes a speedy recovery from the ordeal.
As discussed in our telephonic discussion, in-order for a claim to covered under the illness in hospital or accident cover limit, we require that a claim form be filled in by the vet. Once the claim form and supporting document have been received we will review the claim on your behalf.
Kind Regards
Oneplan
