Paid over R2700 out of my own pocket in an emergency - ONEPLAN REFUSES TO REFUND!
<p>To say I am disgusted to the core would be an understatement. That's why I have cancelled my policy and moved to an actual medical aid who cares. I had an emergency and was rushed to the hospital last Sunday, needed a drip, tons of meds and blood tests. Upon phoning oneplan on the way to the hospital, I was told they won't cover anything "out of hospital." Why on earth have I been such a loyal customer for 6 freaking years? I am fuming. My bills came to over R2700, all of which I have proof of. Sorry, says oneplan. We can't cover this. EXCUSE ME?????????? I have been sending mails upon mails upon mails and am being blatantly ignored by this so called "service provider". Just because I am cancelling does NOT mean I will leave this. I expect my refund in my bank account this month, otherwise I be taking this further. No point putting it on my onecard - you sent it to the wrong address.</p> <p> </p>

Please note that the authorization for the in hospital claim was declined as the event was not deemed as a life threatening event and didn't meet the minimum requirement for hospital admission.
We have since captured the claims under your out of hospital cover and processed a refund to your bank account for the claims, up to their respective cover limits.
