Oneplan Pet insurance - Absolutely pathetic

Pet insurance - What a JOKE!

Joined oneplan in beginning of September 2023! When joining, the consultant was super friendly and helpful.

4 days into signing up, my pet had an accident and fractured his foot!

I phoned oneplan yo find out if the accidental cover is in effect and the consultant I spoke to asked what happened. I explained to her and she then continued to give me the details on how to log a claim and told me that the accidental conver was already in effect

I logged the claim, and soon received feedback on additional forms required. Sent the forms and then had no further communication until I requested feedback in 3 separate emails.

Received feedback that the claim is not accepted as he was not hospitalized.

So because the vet did not keep him overnight, they denied my claim, which in fact is better for them because it costs them less.

I then proceeded to follow their complaints procedure to dispute their decision.

I was informed that they will investigate and refer back to me and they requested documents from the vet.

When following up on the feedback, I get informed from a consultant that the claim has already been handled and she refers to the first letter sent.

I mean it's almost 2 months now and I still do not have proper feedback

@oneplan,I noted another review on your page similar to this one with similar non responses and similar pathetic service. Do not bother sending me a huge reply trying to explain yourself like you did with your other review! I am not interested in your excuses. I expect an email with proper feedback because at this stage, I cannot recommend your poor service to anyone.

And by the way, anyone would be better off joining dotsure.

My other pet is insured with them and their accidental claims pay out for any type of accident. Even if the pet eats something and is vomiting as a result and it isn't even serious as well as any type of injury to bones or legiments - their is no stupid clauses such as Hospitalization requirements
