Oneplan Pet Insurance

Absolutely shocking!!!!!!! If you are thinking of taking out pet insurance please do not even consider oneplan! They reel you in with the oneplan card you can load upfront and swipe at the vet. This is such a small portion you can load on there even on the highest plan ,you won't even be able to afford a vaccination, there exclusions are ridiculous and turn around time to assist with submitted claims ********** over Dec their app and Email to submit claims was not even captured on their side due to a backlog you had to phone in and resubmit for them to allocate manually. They also freeze benefits if you have multiple pets and there is an outstanding claim for one if the pets added. Please rather save your premium or move along to a better insurer!!!!!!!!! What a ****show!!!!!!

Dear Melissa,

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.

Kindly note that the Pet Med Savings benefit covers preventative care claims for your fur-baby such as vaccinations, and dental scaling and polishing. This will be covered up to the annual cover limit of R900 on the Super plan. Should clients request more cover, they can choose to add on the Pet Med Booster which offers an additional R900 towards preventative care claims.

Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. The terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly to all clients. We do have your fur-babies best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Oneplan subscribes to its TCF principles and will take all reasonable steps to ensure fair and equal treatment of all our clients.

We have acknowledged your complaint and we have escalated the matter to the relevant department. One of our consultants will be in contact with you to further discuss the matter at hand.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope to restore the experience.

Reviewer Update
My honest feeling is that your claims department is overwhelmed. TO ADD a.pet.or to get a prompt response regarding a acomplaint is no problem.for you guys, but listening to a customer.or even efficiently communicating when there is a problem is not something you guys can rate yourselves on, deeply disappointed. Your response is empty words to me means nothing but a automated response.
