ONEPLAN PAY PAY PAY.
I have been with Oneplan more than 5years. I have never skipped payments or made late payments. I had gone for blood tests last month to which you are given R460 of which only R200 was used. The next day i had to go for more Which came to R260. I have now been notified that i OWE Oneplan money as my blood tests was done two days in a row. Im sorry i pay a monthly premium and my tests came to less yet i must still pay in. Its a bit of a slap in the face. that is double standards.

04 Dec 2023, 16:19Dear Cindy,
Thank you for taking our call earlier and allowing us the opportunity to further discuss the matter at hand.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached. We do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations as we do value you as our client.
As per our telephonic conversation, kindly note that due to the cover limit for the Pathology benefit being reached, we were unable to process the remaining balance of the claim within 6 days of the initial claim.
According to our policy schedule under the Pathology benefit it states Blood tests done over a period of six (6) days will be seen as one (1) claim. For example, if your limit is R500 for each Pathology claim and the full amount has been utilized for that claim, you may only claim for another Pathology claim 6 days from the initial claim.
Should funds be incorrectly utilized, or the cover limit has been reached, a non-premium balance will reflect on the policy. A non-premium balance is an amount that is due to Oneplan, this amount needs to be settled before any new claims can be loaded.
There are annual cover limits on all our cover types. Once the annual cover limit has been exceeded, the cover limit benefit will renew on the anniversary of your policy. Please note that should you have any funds remaining it will not be carried over into your new policy year since the funds are renewed each year on the anniversary of your policy and you will receive new cover benefits and limits.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. The terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly for all clients. We do have your best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and must apply the TCF policy to ensure all our clients receive fair service and cover.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope the above brings clarity to the matter.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
