Oneplan is the worst pet insurance ever!!!!!!
I have officially had it with Oneplan Insurance.
Firstly - They charge me but do not send the onecard to me. After many emails and reviews from me they send me 2 cards.
Secondly - They DOUBLE DEBIT ME.
Thirdly - They do not refund me for a bill I had to pay for because they did not send me the onecard on time.
Fourthly - I take my pet to the vet yesterday the 5th of January. The bill is more than 1300 but they refuse to help me even after all the back and forth that ONEPLAN gave me(not sending the card on time but debiting me, double debiting me this month, not refunding me for the bill I had to cover because they did not send me the card to use)
Lastly - They send me the below message:
Hi Luna Bear, your Casualty (Pawsualty for Pets) claim on 2022/01/05, Reference no. ***5 cannot be processed due to the following reason Require detailed invoice/statement. Please provide us with the required info as soon as possible. Regards, The Oneplan Team"
I finished at the vet late last night. I was advised by the vet to keep my furbaby in a calm and silent environment until she felt better. I wasn't in any mood to worry about the insurance who has been giving me the run around since day 1.
This is terrible service!!!! You guys take forever to send the onecard! Then double debit me and do nothing about it. Then do not refund me for the bill I had to cover. Cannot assist me with a bill that came to more than 1300. But because I was unable to send the invoice on the same day I took my pet to the vet. I received such a message!!! I am absolutely disgusted with you guys. Poor service. No compassion for anyone. Just want to **** people. I am already looking for insurance for my pet elsewhere. I cannot work with you guys who don't even have the decency to get back to people.
Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We sincerely apologize for the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kindly note that the Casualty benefit has a cover limit of R1300 and is limited to 4 Casualty benefits per a year. A vet consultation will fall under the Casualty benefit claim, and should the vet bill exceed R1300, unfortunately the client will be liable for the difference as claims are paid up to the respective cover limits. Your fur-baby will receive 4 Casualty Benefit claims per a year and once the annual cover limit has been exceeded the cover limit benefit will renew on the anniversary of your policy.
In the unforeseen event of an accident / in-hospital claim we will require a completed claims form from the vet. Records on our system reflect that a claims form was sent to your listed email address on the 05 January 2022. Kindly note that the claims form must be completed by the vet and sent back to us with a detailed invoice or quotation and the claim may be reviewed under the In-hospital benefit.
With regards to the funds that were loaded onto your Onceard, due to the benefits of the Onecard being similar to that of a bank card, please note that bank charges will apply. Records on our system show that we loaded R1300 on the 05 January 2022, thereafter numerous ATM enquirers were made using the Onecard card, which resulted in additional bank charges. The bank charges amounted to R51.2 and you withdrew a total of R1200 which left a balance of R48.8 on your Onecard. You will be able to view these transactions on your Oneplan App under the Card Option.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. We will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note that this is by no means a ploy to refuse payment of the claim, as we do have your fur-babies best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions.
As per our telephonic conversation we will contact you after 2pm today, to further discuss the matter at hand.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused and we hope to resolve the matter as soon as possible.
Kind Regards,
Oneplan
