Dear Tiara,
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We regret to learn of the frustration and disappointment you have experienced and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
Following a review of the matter, we confirm that during the recorded sales call, you indicated that you would prefer to proceed with the policy in March, when you would be in a position to meet the premium and card fee as quoted. During the call, the consultant explained that you had the option to select either 1 March or 1 April as the policy inception date and that premiums, including the once‑off card fee would be collected according to your chosen debit date. After this explanation, you agreed to proceed with the application.
You subsequently selected 1 April as the policy inception date and confirmed the 26th of the month as your debit date. In line with this selection, the consultant clearly advised that the first premium would be collected on 26 March 2026 in order for the policy to be incepted on 1 April 2026. The policy application was completed during the call, and your consent to activate the policy was obtained. The call recording is available should you wish to review it.
Please note that certain terms and conditions always apply and are provided in all policy documentation both prior to and during your experience with us. While we remain committed to assisting wherever possible, this is done strictly in accordance with our terms and conditions. Oneplan upholds Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles and takes all reasonable steps to ensure consistent and equitable treatment of all clients.
We further confirm that a cancellation request has been received and that the policy has been scheduled for cancellation effective 01 June 2026, in line with the applicable policy terms and conditions.
We trust that this clarifies the matter and regret that your experience has led to your decision to cancel the policy.
Kind regards,
Oneplan.
