Oneplan being ridiculous.
So, my debit order was rejected on the 15 th due to circumstances. On the 16th, today, I contact Oneplan for the banking detail to do an immediate payment for my premium, was told that I have to pay for August and September as the payment will be done after the 15 th, so they want two months premium from me, even when paying litterally a few hours after the 15 th ended. How does that work, I am penalized with an extra premium that is only payable on the 15 th of September, but because of this glitch, I am required to pay a double premium. You know what Oneplan, you will lose this customer.

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience which has been caused and for the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us as we do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.
As per our policy terms and conditions, all premiums are payable in advance and not in areas. If your premiums are not up to date, the cover applicable to the policy will lapse, subject to the grace period offered by us. Grace Period means the period of grace allowed for non‐payment of Premium.
The Grace Period is fifteen (15) days from the first day of the month in which the Premium was due. Should the premiums be returned or rejected for any reason, the policy will be immediately suspended for the Grace Period of fifteen (15) days. Payment of your outstanding premium must be received before the fifteenth (15th) day of the month in which it is due. Should your premium not be successfully received for two (2) consecutive months, your policy will automatically cancel. Kindly note that it is the responsibility of the client to ensure that we receive the premium on the nominated date. We reserve the right to collect any failed or rejected premiums through double debiting the nominated bank account with the outstanding premium and the following month’s premium.
Certain terms and conditions are always applicable, and these are included in all policy documents before and during your experience with us. The terms and conditions of the policy must be adhered to and app**** fairly for all clients. We do have your best interests at heart, and we will assist with all we can in line with our terms and conditions. Please note we are governed by the FAIS Act and must apply the TCF policy to ensure all our clients receive fair service and cover.
We have acknowledged your complaint and we have escalated the matter to the relevant department. One of our consultants will be in contact with you to further discuss the matter at hand. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope to restore the experience. Kind Regards, Oneplan
