OnePet's poor service and claim department

I lodged a claim for my pet having a checkup. At the same appointment I agreed to allow him to stay the entire day for a neutering. I sent in the claim for both on 30 April. After 2 emails and 5 phones, I get no response either way. I get the same answer on the phone \we are submitting your claim now". Eventually after 6 weeks"

Hello Arilousa1,

Thanks for the above to our attention.

As per telephonic discussion with the claims department, please note that the claim has been declined due to it being related to a general exclusion.

We do apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused to you.

Please also note that as per our Policy Wording (Terms and Conditions):
1.3.20 Voluntary spaying or neutering is excluded from cover.
3.2.4.7 Spaying and neutering will not be covered for the first twelve months of the policy and will only be considered
once the waiting period has expired if specifically related to a diagnosed condition or illness (except when
related to pregnancy).

Trust that you will find the above in order.

Kind Regards,
Shanice Maistry
