One Plan - No health insurance.
I made a claim in early December 2014 that is now apparently being rejected. First of all, they wait 2 months to send me and sms regarding this rejected claim and now that I need the doctor today, I am being told that I cannot because I first have to pay an outstanding amount. Now you can probably understand my frustration because firstly, my premium is over 1k, secondly, they load your account with R240 per claim but you can only draw R230 at Standard bank ATMs and 3rdly, my doctor costs more than that. I am working at a loss with this people and I would just like potential customers to know that One Plan actually rips you off more than anything else. I do not remember one single time when I've actually been helped by this company in a manner that would satisfy any client. I'm really on the verge of cancelling my policy. Other companies charge you much more, but I take it that it's clearly because you get much better service. If you consider taking out a policy with One Plan because they are cheaper, keep in mind that you'll get cheap service with that.
Thank you for bringing the above to our attention.
As per our telephonic discussion, please note that:
The claim in query was for the 11/12/2014.
An sms was sent out to the nominated mobile number on thee 26/12/2014 informing you that there is a rejected claim on your policy.
On the 13/01/2015 the invoice had been attached however did not have a doctors stamp on it as per our requirements.
Another sms was sent out on the 19/01/2015 informing you of the same rejected claim.
This was again sent out on the 26/01/2015, therefore as you can see we have been sending communication on a weekly basis regarding this claim.
I trust that you now fully understand our claiming process.
Trust that you will find the above in order.
