One plan insurance garbage
Good day.
My experience with one plan insurance which was suppose to be the top plan out of all deeply dissapointed me apon our 1st vet visit which they say it covers consultations I uploaded the documents. They decline it without information on why the injection I can understand it wasn't covered but consultation??? They ignored me up till today about refund the consultation fee because R611 for injection??? It was just over 200 or under for the injection I even told them to cancel my insurance with them till now they didn't responds I will make sure it's all over the media that this insurance company's are *****ulents and I will surely take this matter to the hight court and I will make them pay the most pathetic service ever they all kind when you sign up but after signing up they service are pathetic worse experience ever
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and for taking the time to speak with us.
We sincerely apologize for any delays you may have experienced and the circumstances under which your Hellopeter posting has reached us, as we strive to attend to all our queries in a timely manner and we do take customer feedback seriously to improve our service and process to ensure that we meet our client’s expectations.
As per our telephonic conversation, kindly note that your fur-baby is covered on the Primary Pet plan which offers standard day-to-day and in-hospital cover.
The day-to-day benefit you have available on the Primary Pet plan is the Casualty benefit that covers Vet consultation, prescribed medication, pathology, radiology, medically justifiable dentistry, minor procedures, and treatments or diagnostic tests up to the respective cover limit.
Clients have the option to add the Pet Med Savings benefit on the Primary Pet Plan as a policy extender for an additional amount which has a cover limit of R350 per annum. This benefit will cover preventative day-to-day claims for your fur baby such as voluntary sterilization, vaccinations, deworming, tick and flea control, anal gland expression, dental scaling and polishing, and nail clipping, chronic medication and it includes the excess buster that will waive any excess amounts for an in-hospital claim.
Records on our system confirm that the services rendered on the invoice we received were for vaccinations. The claim was rejected as this is not covered under the Casualty benefit and would only be reviewed under the Pet Med Savings benefit if it was added as a policy extender.
We have since proceeded to send an email to your listed email address with a comparison brochure, confirming the 5 different pet plans we offer with the benefits and cover limits on each plan type.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope to provide clarity on the above matter. Kind Regards, Oneplan
