ONE PET (ONE GROUP) IS A *******!!!!

<p>I joined one pet a few months ago. I have a puppy and an 8 year old shepard. In the name of transparency I told them my sheperd had a leg issue. I didn't need to say anything as it is undiagnosed, and they can't find anything wrong. I told this to the lady who called me while I was at work, and she asked if I wanted to hear their terms and conditions. I said it's fine, she can email them as I know I won't be paid out if I haven't disclosed anything. Prior to joining, I had to fill out forms and on the forms it asks if the dog has a microchip. I put 'no' for my older dog, but no-one bothered to inform me that I need to have this done in order for him to be insured. Thebe Modise then got hold of me as I had called and sent an email, and explained that this is written in the small print and I asked for the lady not to read the terms and conditions. I said it is still not at all transparent and ********* if I have to fill out forms before debiting my account and nothing is said. He then listened to recordings of my conversations and said it is my fault as I had told the woman not to read out the terms, but I was discussing my dog's leg ailment and was at work and assumed the terms were with regards disclosure on the dog. I then told them to take my older dog off the plan and have the courtesy NOT to charge me for the next month as it was the beginning of the month, and I was aware that I would be charged according to the rules, but as a matter of common courtesy, as I still believe that even though the microchip issue is stipulated in the 'small print', once mentioning my dog has no microchip, by not informing me he has to have one is 'devious'or 'deceptive'or not being ''transparent' and I'm sure not being fair to the consumer as per the consumer act. Magander Govender then called me and agreed with me and said he would look into it, though he cannot promise me anything, and he would get back to me. He was wonderful and understanding on the call, but it's been weeks and I haven't heard back. Why does everything have to be a fight to get anything done and have decent customer care!!!!!! They have cost me almost R1000 for nothing as Ozzie isn't covered and wasn't even covered for a month before I told them to take him off, but I still got charged for the next month. As we say in SA 'SIS!!!!''</p>
