Joined in Nov 2016, got a plocy nr etc. no ebit on 1st of Dec phoned and was told that the "Invoice" was not generated and that it would go off in Jan 2017, never did!! Phoned agaion and was told that they would debit 3 months in Feb 2017. LOL!! but that someone would call me back the next day.....Never Happened!! Phoned again today and was informed that my policy was actually never activated but that she cannot cancel the policy and that someone from another dept. would call me to process. Low and behold they did and then intimated that the policy would cancelled but that a 30 day notice pweriod exist and that the debit would not go off. Then recieved an e-mail stating thet that they are cancelling my policy because they neve recieved funds and that a R100 cancellation fee is applicable and on top of that they will debit on the 1st of Feb. This all on an acount that have not been "activated" or any invoices raised on. I phoned again and after 20min on tghe phone was told that they will now backdate the cancellation and that no debit will be raised, I am waiting on writen confermation....I sincerely hope this is the case. Realy, Realy bad customer service!!!

Hi Conradie,

From the outset we sincerely apologise that your experience with One Plan has not been a pleasant one and apologise for the inconvenience that we have caused you.

It is deeply concerning that you took out your policy in November but to date the policy hadn't been activated. We are investigating the break in process and we will put measures in place to ensure that an error like this does not reoccur again.

As per our telephonic conversation, your policy has been cancelled and a confirmation email has been sent as you had requested. Please note that there wont be any debit scheduled on your account for the cancellation fee.

Kind Regrads

One Plan
