Never join One Plan, they will take you for a ride, let you claim when it's convenient and riddle you with loopholes to get out of their makes and the mess they create!!!
One Plan health is inconsistent, inconsiderate and inconvenient when you deal with them privately. At 7-8 months pregnant I received an email stating that my emergency c section would be covered. Just now they made a mistake with my prescription medication and because I had proof, I was given a leniency claim. I had proof of an email they sent and there was no liniency for that. I was heavily pregnant and they didn't even cover for hospital stay after what they have sent me. They have never held up any form of accountability or any form of payment besides gynae visits. I could not deal with them then, it has taken me time to build up the courage to call them out publicly, I have left them. They have done nothing but stress me out at the most sensitive time of my entire life, I will never ever forget this. Anyone thinking of joining them, don't!

13 Sept 2021, 20:08I really hope it's investigated further because when I contacted OnePlan on whatsapp instead of finding a way to understand how bad they messed up, I just get a "sorry" and basically I should have known what my policy covers for. To be honest, yes I knew but when you medical aid or scheme comes to you with an email telling you that you qualify for maternity benefits such as paying for your c section and then not even covering hospital stay and making me feel like it was my fault for ever thinking that they would cover such is a lot. I was pregnant! Fortunately I have sent an email with the exact email that was sent to me that included my policy number showing that the mistake was not caused by me. One plan must take responsibility for the emotional hard they caused in this situation, I literally had to visit a psychologist after this because it felt like a sick mind game. And yes, I have full proof of my visit to the psychologist incase I'm questioned about that too. I highly appreciate the call I received earlier from Mereshnie and I hope I am at least compensated in some way for the up and down instead of a sorry that will not do anything for me or what I went through.
