My claim was rejected after I got a premature cancelation of my pet hospital plan
My claim was rejected after I got a premature cancelation of my pet hospital plan. Our dog sadly died at the Vet after being bitten by a Mozambique spitting Cobra. So on the same day I claimed the hospitalization & cremation and then ended my policy with the 30day notice ahead of me, a week later made my final payment. They told me my policy ended a month prior (I've never cancelled before that day). And rejected my claim.

12 Jun 2026, 20:12As you're not answering my private message or my email, I'll reply publically. Only the cremation was paid back (today), not the hospital fees. I don't have access to my policy anymore, but on the last page, the last point, hospitalization even in critical emergency situations for only 2hours, was covered in my policy. I don't have the exact wording, but know when I read through my policy that stuck with me cause it highlighted the situation we had.
