Life is everything
I am with Oneplan Health Insurance for 3 years. Last year I got cancer. My cancer is now at a stage that I must get chemo tablets. According to Oneplan when you are diagnosed with a dreaded disease they only cover you for a year from diagnosed then after a year you get a 6 months waiting period. So what happened if someone must get chemotherapy every month to survive, if those people don't get chemotherapy for 6 months they will die. We talking here about human lifes. I really think they can make some arrangement for that 6 months waiting period. I was in tears when they told me that I have a 6 months waiting period now.

Thank you for bringing the above to our attention.
The six month recovery period before the next dread disease claim for the same condition is explained in the policy wording.(Kindly refer to section 3.4 in the terms and conditions sent to you).
The clinical indication for admission is not being disputed nor are we denying the Insured medical treatment. The onus is on the Insured to continue with treatment by either taking liability for the related costs or to seek alternative care at a public facility.
We do apologise about any inconvenience that may be caused to you.
Trust that you will find the above in order.
